How It Works?
yTests are based on adaptive technology which identifies your talent level and gives
you the right challenging questions
- Every Question is a multiple choice
- You will never get the same qusetion twice
Basically, Depending on your answers to questions we give you the next questions.
If you answer a question with a difficulty rating moderate you get the next question
a little more difficult.
The Secret:
The nerds in our tech team have developed an Algorithm to actually create a real-time
competition between each question and each test-taker. The algorithm is continuously
learning from youth interactions and getting talented about how to rank each question
and each user .
The Scores are on a scale of 0 to 100. Your score reflects how you rank against
other people who have taken the same Talent Test.
Thus, if you score of 78 for Talent PHP means that your talent is somewhere around
78 on a scale of 100 amongst all people tested for PHP.
Note:
The Scores changes over time : Each of our tests gets more talented every day, as
new questions are added and more people answer each question, helping us understand
their difficulty level. This means your score will naturally change slightly over
time, as more people take each test. Take tests periodically as you learn to keep
your scores up to date!
What my Score says?
How the tech nerds really created Y4Wscore..
Inside recipe from Y4Wโs Tech room
Working on Principles of game mechanics. The numeric scoring method is based on
Glicko, the same system used to score chess masters (and even Xbox!). Each question
is a game with a question being your opponent based on your talent ratings. If you
beat a tougher questions your ratings improve a lot, but if you lose with a very
hard question your ratings change slightly.
How we know the above..
( The stealth operation inside the tech room..)
Our nerds in our closed tech room were spending many nights working and talking
geek whenever we saw them. When we spied into the tech room early morning while
the nerds were sleeping in that room,
