Project Description

Rumi Kids is a division of Rumi Education, a successful private education group in Hyderabad whose mission is to achieve transformational life changes for those communities lacking education. Our strategy is to achieve sustainable and scalable change in Indian education.

Job description: We are searching for a person with strong marketing and project management skills. The position is based in New Delhi and will require significant travel throughout New Delhi.

Our company is building a new breed of preschools that will positively impact the lives of communities. You will play an active role in implementing the marketing campaign – including community events, door-to-door promotions and other activities. You may also be required to assist in project managing the construction of the preschools. You will be part of a highly professional and hard working team start-up team.

Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate with business partners and service providers.
- Implementation of marketing activities – flyer distribution, tie ups with societies etc
- Oversee construction projects
- Market research on the target customers.
- Market research on the target area.
- Competition awareness and analysis.
- Write business-grade reports.
- Devise and suggest low cost marketing campaigns.

Desired Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will:
- Be a self starter who can deliver results in any environment
- Demonstrate extreme flexibility and a willingness to embrace rapid and disruptive change
- Willing to travel, as much is required for the best output.
- Have a practical, hands-on, can-do attitude
- Be meticulous and unfazed by impossible standards
- Be a happy person
- Speak fluent English and Hindi
- Be tech-savvy

Should have own vehicle/willing to use metro/public transport to travel across Delhi.
Duration: 3 months (will be extended by another month if required)
Stipend will be offered – INR 15,000 per month (more for exceptional candidate) + travel allowance

• Are you willing to use your own vehicle for travelling purpose? The company will reimburse any such travelling cost on actuals.

• the project offering is from July 15th-September 15, once the colleges open we are willing to offer and reduce flexi timings for the intern, in order to manage studies with work. Are you good to be associated with us till September?

- Since a part of this position also involves dealing with estate agents/ visiting and evaluating various sites for pre-schools etc. We would prefer male candidates.We treat women as equivalent to men under any circumstances, however in a city like Delhi there are a lot many unpleasant people and would never compromise on risking any girl's safety in letting her visit these vacant sites alone.
