    One must understand the purpose of interviews.Its not about testing the knowledge regarding your subject(which already have been tested in written exam) rather it's about your personality /factors which you are required to posses for that particular Post. The most common factors are.. *Communication skills. *Decision making. *Confidence. *Leadership. But certain Post may require special quality like Behaviour,Loyalty, Working Overtime without any particular work schedule.National Intigrity,aggressiveness ....etc.
    The interviewer tries find out these qualities in you.
    So friends prepare accordingly.

    HR questions are mostly about personal information and  our interests etc.For sure not from the subjects

    Before answering that one should always remember that there are different types of interviews just like job interviews, MBA interviews etc..each interview is only specific to its own organisation requirements. When we speak generally then they test for your attitude, knowledge, communication skills, personality, behaviour etc..

    for the HR jobs fisrt thing is that you should command in the basic coursse of your HR subject for your interview puropse and it should be clear and having a knowledege of al the important thing with is require for it.

    If you are from Computer or IT department your question will be mostly based on programming. If you are non IT department it will be from your department . Just be prepared. Don’t get nervous . Answer them with a smiling face and be confident of your answer. If you don’t know the answer for any question just be frank and tell I don’t know sir I’m sorry . Best of luck !

    Actually in practical life not yet I have not face any interview...But I say that there is no book in which you can get what type of questions are ask in our interview. What you observe in your day to day life, in your surroundings ,which type of people is there in ur group,what are their talks whether it is related to social issues, politics concerns,personal issues etc etc etc. So one thing is important our listening skills and our watching habits must be good
