is power factor greater than 1 or not if yes then why
Power factor cannot be greater than 1, because real power is always less than apparent power. If it becomes greater, it would violate the law of conservation of energy.
Power factor will be 1 but not more than 1. Becoz it is ratio of true power or real power (KW) to Apparent power (KVA). Real power is always less than Apparent power. So power factor will not be more than 1.
It is the cosine angle between voltage and current. It love between 0 to 1.
power factor never greater than one.Power factor =cosphi. and value of cos never greater than one.
Not.because efficiency is not great than 1.and the value of cos is not great than 1
Power factor is always between 0 & 1.
