    Geoffrey Chaucer was born in London between 1340 and 1344. He was an English author, poet , theorist , administrator and expert . He is also assign to as the father of English Literature.

    He is assigned to as the father of English Literature. Although he wrote many works, he is best recollected for his incomplete frame reported 'The Canterbury Tales'.
