It was a final year academic project.The railway bridge was designed using pre-configured loads. It involved using MAtLAB and STADDPro to validate the force distribution on the structure. Steel was chosen keeping consideration that steel construction can help to meet the requirement of the growing economy with lower initial and life time costs which agreed with the fact that most of the construction these days involves longer spans and larger heights and bringing up the point that steel is economical from initial point of view. To check the conformity with the tolerance level , various analyses were performed and the results correspondingly were tabulated. I was involved in generating a MATLAB code to analyse various elements viz displacement and deflection.
