The main idea of this experimental study is to find out the effective heat transfer rate. The
parameters analyzed in the experiment set up are the outlet and inlet temperatures of both
inner and outer tube, the heat transfer coefficients. The twisted tape insert with various geometric dimensions will result into the higher rate of heat transfer than other methods.
Creation of turbulence with the help of twisted tape in the flow passage is one of the
favorable passive heat transfer augmentation techniques due to their advantages of easy
fabrication, low cost, operation as well as low maintenance. It has been observed that the
