the moisture content in a well seasoned timber is -

1.4-6% 2.10-12% 3.15-20% 4.20-25% 5.25-30%.. 6.30-35%.. 7.35-40%.. 8.40-45%.. 9.45-50%..

10-12%. Beacuse seasoning is done to remove moisture content and gain strength. But seasoning is not done upto 0%. 
There are various method to done seasoning as like natural and artificial. Depending upon accuracy, need , indistry we adopt these methods.
