Rakesh kumar gupta is appointed as a new secretary of UPSC (union public service commision).He is a IAS (Indian administrative service) officer of Jammu and kashmir cadre of 1986 batch.The headquater office of UPSC is in Dholpur,New delhi. New secretary is appointed by the president of India Mr. Ramnath kovind. UPSC conduct the exam for the central government and also give advise to the ministry of India in regarding the propotion of the Grade-A central government officers.The current chairman of UPSC is Arvind saxena,IAS.
