What is more important? Hardwork or smartwork?

Some studens work very hard but they do not get the get the expected result. On the other hand, some students do not study too much but get the desired result. I am facing the same. Having knowledge but not able to apply at the right place.

I am in favour of smart work. as per my experience i would suggest you to keep smart work at first and the hard work on it. "as per your words You said some Students do not study too much but get the desired result" because they do smart work, they use to study the main topics and capable to write on them.
