How to stop animation in ViewFlipper, please explain giving an example.

More Precisely I just want an example demonstrating when and where to use the stopAnimation() method of ViewFlipper class.

you can check if the ViewFlipper is own last child view. If it is already on its last child view, then we call  flipper.stopFlipping().
