How to change the value of a FINAL variable in java?

if the final variable is in parent class (public ) mostly 
 we call  the variable and assign it with new variable  subset 
also using  hiearchical instances can come handy. class A extends class  B where  class A  consist of final variable  and class be can assign the values to  it .
