Viscosity

What is difference between viscosity and inviscid fluid

Your Answer

The viscosity of a fluid is a measure of its resistance to gradual deformation by shear stress or tensile stress . Viscosity is the property of a fluid which opposes the relative motion between two surfaces of the fluids that are moving at different velocities .
Inviscid flow is the flow of an inviscid fluid in which the viscosity of the fluid is equal to zero . This is practically not possible but ideally it can be true .
