What is difference between viscosity and inviscid fluid
The property of resistance to flow in any material with fluid properties.
The mathematical ratio of the tangential frictional force per unit area to the velocity gradient perpendicular to the direction of flow of a liquid — called also coefficient of viscosity.
Isaac Newton expressed the viscous forces by the differential equation
T= μ(∂u/∂y)
where τ = F/A, and ∂u/∂y is the local shear velocity.
