Interview Process that need to be follow?

In today's scenario what in your opinion is the best way of interview process, "Online OR Face to Face interviews" ?

In Today's scenario where machines,which are doing the work of humans, is still not that much efficient for the interviews to be conducted. A person who is technically sound but having double thoughts related to the job may get selected on online interview process, but he might not join which will not be of any use. Instead if he is interviewed face to face may not be able to hide his thoughts comparitively, so face-to-face itnerview proves to be a long term profit for the company and hence till now it is the best way of interview process according to my opinion and it depends as we all are not same.
