I think a small modification has to be done to the above given series i.e.the first digit of the above series must be 260 rather than 26. If so then the logic which i'm giving below holds good. consider the odd places of the above given series i.e. 260,128,62,x then the relation can be established as 260=(128*2+4) 128=(62*2+4) 62=(x*2+4) Therefore the required answer is 29
31 is the answer if we consider first term as 256 the relation between first and third term then second and fourth then fifth and seventh and then sixth and eighth. All the terms are double to the number given in the series.
plz correction in your question...there will be 260 istead of 26 Question is 260,216,128,108,62,54,?,27 Answer is 29 Solution: 2nd. 4th, 6th, 8th numbers are divisble by 2 i.e. (216/2=108, 108/2=54, 54/2=27) and 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th numbers divisible by 2 after that subtract by 2 i.e. {(260/2)-(2)=128, (128/2)-(2)= 62, (62/2)-(2)=29)} The answer is 29
