Is visual light enable for secure communication process?

By using visual light we can do communication.and also it is easier to transmit the data through light compared to the present methods

Yes!! Very well you can use visual light for communication. Before I get to specifics, let me give you an eg. Some optic fibre communication is done through visual light i.e. red. It is basically the laser light which they use to carry the information. However, this is not done in a wider scale. Also in other way of commnication, i.e. wireless communication, Li-Fi uses light in the visible spectrum.&nbsp; Pros of visible light: 1. You can easily understand how the communication is carried over, from the transmitter to the reciever. 2. Can figure out route and easily layout path plans. 3. You could easily assume whether the data is in flow or not and dont need any fancy or high tech devices to confirm it. Just a sight of your naked eye is enough. 4. Also from being as just light used for commnication, the light used (eg. in Li Fi) the light used for commmnication can be used as an alternative source for normal light. As the transmission of bits occur at high speeds and human eye wont be able to see the difference.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Cons: Visual light has serious limitations though,&nbsp; 1. The receiver and transmitter must be in straight line and the line of sight must be maintained. 2. Since the visual spectrum has a range of 4*1014&nbsp;Hz to 8*1014&nbsp;Hz, it is really necessary that the receiver remains undisturbed from any external light sources to avoid interference.&nbsp; 3. Data Security is very low. provided if you have any high developed encryption mechanism, the data isnt safe. Anyone with a receiver can tamper to the data being transferred and intrude privacy.&nbsp; 4. The biggest disadvantage in visual light is that the photons loose energy over a long distances. The most efficent among all the visual lights is Red. Thats why they are used in tail lights of automobiles as they can be clearly seen over long distances. Other than these facts, if you&#39;re proposing to do a model for small indoor or like within the desk kind of commmunication, Its really great thing to do! Hope I have answered your question.
