It makes no sense for you landing up at the interview without having the key details of the organization. The interviewer may grant an extra grade for the sincerity and dedication displayed.

Now that the structure is ready in your head you need to articulate the answer in a comprehensive manner, replying to all the questions put by the interviewer.
• Try to answer in the same sequence as the questions posed and avoid missing out any. Therefore you must think before you speak and always remember the process ASA, where A stands for analyzing, S for structure and A for articulation.
• Posture is also important; therefore one must avoid crossing your legs, putting your hands on the table. If possible sit in an upright posture, unless asked to relax.

As the case maybe, you may have more than one round of personal interview, on most occasions especially for a technical positions you may have one generic, often called HR round the other being a technical round. But now in the SSBs both the rounds are encapsulated into one. Though the contexts of both the interviews are different but the crux and the process remains the same. Make sure you follow the above process judiciously, if these points are taken care of, the onus then lies with you to convert it. If possible and if time permits, have a demo interview with your friend to test your preparations and what you’re lacking.
