What is the use of bilateral elements

Where and why we use bilateral elements in circuit , is bilateral element are necessary or not

  • bilateral circuit allows the current flow in both directions ,example Resistor.
    Ans is it depends what type of ciruit do you want to make.
    like if you want to design a bridge rectifier then no need of bilateral elelments
    and if you want to make any inductive/capacitive circuit you will need bilateral resistor.
