State the baltic countries name?

There are countries in word which grouped in baltic countries and balkan countries. Can anyone explain the name and difference between them?

  • Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia are known as the Baltic nations. Until 1991, all thee nations were part of the Soviet Union, but now they are all independent and members of the European Union. Lithuanian and Latvian are the official languages of their respective countries.
