Why is English considered as the language of communication for professionals ?

English is a internation language. It is only the language which accept by all countries.for communicate to people we all have one language ,without language we can't communicate a Sentence.so, not only for bussiness or profession it's also speaking by country for normal life conversation.for a example we are living in india ,here are lots of languages but one language is common for everyone or suitable for everyone is english.
