What is the difference betwen ductile and fragile fracture surface?

The first one ever deforms; fragile fracture do not. Why?

fragile fracture surface are shiny and have cleavage.while ductile fracture surface have uneven appearance and having ups and downs due to cup and cone phenomena of fracture.
