How some of the famous companies use SQL ?

We all know that famous companies uses SQL, infact they hire candidates based on their SQL knowledge. But I want to know in which field they are using these queries ?

  • Sql is a standard language for using or to modify database. Database is a place where one can store data. So if you consider companies like amazon they must be using database to store product details , supplier details , employeer details , previous years statistics and various other things. If they need to modify tables or create a new table they will use sql queries to accomplish the desired task .
