Choose my career as Linux Administrator but I really don't know its is good choice or not as compare to Software Developer.
Just Linux admin is not a good choice learn AWS ,JBOSS,DB as well as VMWare the combination of all those things will surely make you the best one in industry strongNote/strong:Certs plays an important role.
I would say Linux admin. It's like those are must for every compnay not jst IT. It's evergreen and late u can be IT Manager/ Security Manager. As software developer u'l work only in IT industry. When there are no projects they'll sack employees. But it's very rare freshers drectly get admin post, some starts like IT support Engineer --> Admin
choosing linux administrator has a scope in feature its evergreen
Linux Administrator is good but while comparing to software developer, software developer has good growth in present field. So better to go for computer software.
A Linux Administrator job can definitely be something you can start your career with. It is basically the first step to start working in the Linux industry. Literally every company nowadays works on Linux. So yes, you are good to go. br /But then sooner or later you may have to switch or learn newer and advanced technologies for example if you are a Red Hat System Administrator then you'll have to go for Red Hat Engineer/Architect to earn better, which obviously requires good knowledge of the basics. So yeah, starting a career as a Linux Administrator is good but it probably won't earn you a living later on.
