We always see that usually some parents doesn't let their kid to opt sports as his/her profession because earnings are not good as a profession in sports. Why?

  • Because it requires lot of hard work and dedication which is lacking in today's youth and also it is not the life time job

  • Because of low awareness about career in sports but nowadays sports is acceptable as career by parents

  • Salaries in sports depend on your skill, level, and the popularity of the sport. It’s not true that salaries are always low in sports as a job. Top athletes in popular sports earn millions, but many others earn less, especially in smaller or local sports. Parents might worry because sports careers can be short, risky, and competitive. Still, with hard work and the right opportunities, if you have sports skills, sports can be a great career.

  • See if you love what you do then money should not be an issue, but coming back to your question in our country maybe we dont get satisfactory money except cricket, in the developed countries as in U.S, Europe sports career has a lot of money. We should hope our country too will soon boom with sports.

  • See evryone have thier own passion , so i don't give much importance to salary. The name and the reputation which we get in sports is more valueable then money.
