  • use particular microprocessor data sheet

  • Microcontroller datasheets will have all information related to that particular controller. It also included set of intructions requied to program that controller

  • no. of instructions are given on specifications of any microprocessor. Depending on the manufacturing process no. of instructions of any microprocessor is dependent.

  • Every processor or controller has its own specification sheet. we can find out the number of instructions, its functionality and how to use the instructions while writing a piece of code in spec sheet of microprocessor we want to know.
The number of instructions depends on instruction set architecture that a designer decides to design his processor and effective address calculation of instruction strategy. For eg in INTEL's 8085 the program counter will as such store the address of the instruction. So here it also depends on memory that we allocate for program counter but in INTEL's 8086 effective address calculation method was actually implemented so here it not only depends on instruction register.

  • For that you have to read microcontroller... If u clearly study about microcontroller u fan easily find the pins in microprocessor..
