In IC fabrication the final process metallization is carried out by which metal?

(a) is correct is Aluminium as in metallization the components of IC's are interconnected .this process produces a thin film of metal serves as a conductor patter for the interconnections on the chip so aluminium is the most suitable metal for this because it has good conductivity not more than copper but its cheaper than it and relatively more conductive from the rest and it is easy to form films of aluminum by vapour deposition
It has has good adherence on silicon dioxide surface
It can also form good mechanical bonds with silicon by sintering process at 500 degree celsiusModal content
