nvalid column type: getInt not implemented for class oracle.jdbc.driver.T4CRowidAccessor

Question

I am using oracle db. Below is my entity class snippet where id is used.

@Id
    @Column(name="ID", unique = true, nullable = false)
    @GeneratedValue(strategy = GenerationType.IDENTITY)
    private Integer id;
    

what am i  missing?

Oracle DBA doesn't support Identity so change strategy type to increment or sequence
