Is Reservation needed or not?

It was one topic asked for us in Group Discussion round in Campus Placement. Where there were equal discussions made on against and in favor.

In the present scenario in my point of view there is no need of reservations mainly reservations based on caste is not necassary because many of the so-called backward caste people have become rich. There are no such situations which we had long back ago like untouchability etc..
