Is Reservation needed or not?

It was one topic asked for us in Group Discussion round in Campus Placement. Where there were equal discussions made on against and in favor.

There is all around discussion and agitations against reservation. Let my clarify one thing. This is not actually reservation but only representation who have been deprived of education, employment etc. since several millennium. When people are insisting for no reservation, why they are not discussing or even think about abolition of caste in India? Rather, people are proud to call themselves as Shastri, Verma, Sharma and so on. Till the time the caste exists in India, there is no meaning of talking about abolition of reservation (representation).
