Is Reservation needed or not?

It was one topic asked for us in Group Discussion round in Campus Placement. Where there were equal discussions made on against and in favor.

Reservation is a curse to the nation, it demoralizes the deserving student and most of the people availing Reservation are absolutely not poor. And they take it as granted, no matter at what position they reach, reservation is used by them rest of the life too, though they are not poor.
