Is Reservation needed or not?

It was one topic asked for us in Group Discussion round in Campus Placement. Where there were equal discussions made on against and in favor.

No, there is no need of Reservation because each person has the appropriate skills and abilities and the person who is suitable for the particular field that person will be selects for that particular role according to their performance but if their is reservation then employess in the organization will give first preference to their caste candidates.
