What is kaizen? What it Kaizen role in Supply chain?

Kaizen (???), is the Japanese word for "continuous improvement ". What it Kaizen role in Supply chain and how it is related to Six Sigma?

  • As we known kaizen means continuous improvement,it reduces waste in supply chain by using lean tools which are Value Stream Mapping,Kaizen Events. As we see both conditions ( after and before) we know what improvement done to reduce waste ,that is the goal of Six Sigma (to reduce waste and improve efficiency of task). -Akshay Pattewar
