First of all let's start with projection ,projection means image formed by throwing of light on object and obtaining it's image on a screen known as plane of projection. There are many type of projections eg oblique projection ,parallel line projection so Orthographic projection is parallel line projection in which projector lines are parallel to each other and are perpendicular to plane of projection. In this one view can give true shape of several elements of an object so Orthographic projection consist of six views top view ,front view ,Left and right hand side view and bottom and back view from which at least 2 views are needed to give true picture of an object.when the principal planes or axes of an object in an orthographic projection are not parallel with the projection plane, but are rather tilted to reveal multiple sides of the object, the projection is called an axonometric projection. Sub-types of multiview projection include plans, elevationsand sections. Sub-types of axonometric projection include isometric, dimetric and trimetric projections.Two-dimensional isometric or oblique views of a three-dimensional object on a drawing surface at right angles to the views and the lines of sight (projection). In these views the lines of the object parallel to the drawing surface are of true length and thus can be drawn to scale. Elevations, floor plans, and sections of a building are orthographic projections.
It is the view of a 3D object from all the views .. Such as top ,front and side view and free hand sketched into a 2D protection. These 2D views lies between horizontal and vertical plane according to preference
It is a method of drawing 2D views of a given 3D object including front view, top view and side view which is lies between horizontal and vertical plane.
It is the projection of a 3-dimensional object in a 2 -dimensional plane , the top view of the object lies in the horizontal plane and the front view in the vertical plane along with side view if given.
