As a sas programmer i worked on maintenance and developmemt of financial data.This project involved acquisition, retrieval and management of sales data.I was responsible for creating new sas codes, utilizing existing codes and maintaining data in sas. I was also involved in the update and maintainance of data and generation of various sales and marketing reports.
Creating sas datasets by extracting sas datasets from excel, flat files.
Subsetting dataset using set, merge,sort , update and conditional statement to produce reports.I used SAS ODS AND SAS MACROS to create reports in html format.Updated reports each month, quarter and yearly basis with new data.

• Writing code to extract data from Excel to SAS datasets using Proc import. Merged and manipulated data after importing to SAS.
• As a SAS programmer, involved in the update & maintenance of the data and generation of various sales and marketing reports.
• Maintenance of large data sets, combining data from various sources in varying formats to create SAS data sets by using Set and Merge for generating Reports and Graphs.
• Used Proc Report, Proc transpose, Proc format and merging extensively.
• Prepared new Datasets from raw data files using Import Techniques and modified existing datasets using Set, Merge, Sort, and Update, Formats, Functions and conditional statements.
Processed data several reports were generated used Proc Reports, Proc Tabulate and also converted the data in to HTML and PDF format sent to the client by delivering output using ODS.
