    Job Profile: Electrical Leader

    • Lead the electrical maintenance team for zero breakdowns of critical equipments like electrical protection equipment, transformers, HT & LT switchgear, UPS, drives and diesel generators thus increasing MTBF.
    • Manage integrated building management systems (IBMS), fire alarm systems, CCTV & access control and AVSI.
    • Providing electrical engineering design, procurement, construction & maintenance support for all electrical projects, improvements and site modifications.
    • Lead electrical safety with zero incidents in the site. Coordinate with SHE & security team and ensure day-to-day SHE activities like issuing of permits based on job risk analysis.
    • Key tracker, advisor and contributor for site energy conservation.
    • Develop SOPs, assess and schedule preventive & predictive maintenance for the site and monitor their implementation and adherence.
Achievements
  • Contributed in reduction of overall operations cost by 7% in 2015 i.e. 378,000 US$ in our R&D facility. Optimized the usage of captive power.

  • • Developed an electrical safety team and achieved all the set goals and won best service support and safety team in year 2014 for manufacturing facility.
    • Took lead in the installation & commissioning of 2no.s of 1000 KVA Diesel Generators with auto synchronization, bus duct modification & chimney erection and completed the project within timelines and budget.
    • Planned, estimated and budgeted the up-gradation to LED lights project in our manufacturing facility and got approval for 300,000 US$. Took lead in implementation and completed the project within budget and payback of 2 years.
    • Designed, Installed and commissioned new PCC and MCC panels for site up-gradation in a way that there is no interruption to production operations.
    • Enabled third party power at site by developing required infrastructure like ABT meters and acquiring required statutory approvals. This opened opportunities to buy exchange power on need basis.
