Hi freinds, Greetings Drop Shipping with Products from Multiple Vendors is the considered with the view to get economy and smoothness in getting the various product in single delivery at the final required destination. There are several challenges are involved in this transaction. .1 Most Important that nominated freight forwarder or 3PL agency should be highly reliable and have competency to receive the products and keeping in the warehouse in safe condition at designated place otherwise chances of mixing of other products along with keeping the all the documents received from several vendors and and providing the complete sets along with Shipping documents so that customs clearance at the destination port should be smooth. 2 All the vendors should be from same country in case of international vendor with same Incoterms as FOB/ FCA - Port of dispatch Export. 3 The Delivery schedule and delivery quantity from each vendor should be synchronized along with Expected date of Departure ETD from port of Dispatch and FF or 3PL agency should have cross check before ETD to avoid any shortfall in combination of product otherwise it may be Production is delayed, which is Prime focus and objectives behind Drop shipping from multiple Vendors. 4 It is convenience from point of view of smooth supply system but at what cost. Before adopting this method cost analysis for Logistics is must to avoid the last moment shock. 5 This Process is highly beneficial in case of complete manufacturing Outsourcing Model adopted by a company and it reduces the several difficulties in providing the delivery of different items to Contract Manufacturer.
