It was more with the data analysis part. Where i was involved into data cleaning, data editing. Data analysis using SPSS and Excel. To some extent STRATA was also made use of. References was done using Mendelay software. My core role was playing with numbers, all i did was generating tables, fitting the approprioate test in order to prove our study statistically/empirically true. Also, binary logistics as well as multivariate regression was used for further analysis. At places, even composite index was developed. Executive summary,Reporting writing and referencing was also a part of the project.
Handled three projects at a time, these projects was funded by BARTI,Pune. All the projects were completed in the timely manner.

Proportion of Farmers Suicides in Maharashtra

This was a project undertaken by Gokhale Institute for Politics and Economics, funded by BARTI,Pune. The main objective of the project was to understand the proportion of farmers suicides amongst the Marathas and other caste in Maharashtra State. The study also emphasises on causes of farmers suicides, inconvenience caused due to the death of the earning member to their family. A sample of about 2000 farmers was interviewed across Vidarbha and Marathwada regions of Maharashtra state. The samples were drawn using simple random sampling techniques. Their details was entered into SPSS data set for the analysis purpose.According to the analysis the proportion of farmers suicides amongst Marathas was higher than the other castes.

A study on socio-economic snd educational status of Mathadi Hamals in Maharashtra

The main objective of this project was to understand the proportion of Marathas with respect to other caste. This project was conducted by BARTI,Pune. This project was focused on Maratha reservation. For the analysis around 15000 mathadi hammals were interviewed. The survey was conducted in 11 districts on Maharashtra. Pioneers from SEED software firm helped us in collecting the data on electronic gadgets. Later data was extracted into excel format and further converted into SPSS format for analysis. Simple basic tables was generated to understand the proportion of the parameters. To analysis the data inept different statistical tests were involved like t-test and ANOVA etc. According to the analysis in brief majority of the variables Marathas happened to prove better than the other castes.

Maternal Child and Neonatal care: A situational analysis.

This study was mainly undertaken to support the backward district of Karnataka i.e. all the 8 Norther Karnataka districts. Due to high Maternal, Infant and Child Mortality. Our study focused on availability, accessibility and coverage of basic health care facilities for under privileged people of the society. In the study we mapped all the health care facilities from grass root levels to higher levels. Front line workers like ANM/ASHS/LHA/MO were interviewed using a well drafted questionnaire. The question on human resources, infrastructure,services provided, equipments, medicines, government schemes, beneficiary of the schemes, budget etc was captured. Also, to understand the quality of the service and the knowledge of the care provider a detailed quality assessment study was done. Analysis were made, reports were submitted to Government of Karnataka.
