Responsibilities
  • •Part of Custody Middle office-Brokerfacing Team where I interact with various brokers on the street to pre-match/confirm trade details. • Prepare MIS which gives management proper and accurate numbers as where business stands and how it can be improvised further. • Prepare Corporate Action File where entire team came to know which security matured when and which trades needed to be prioritized so that trades could settle on Value Date. • Ensuring that all controls are followed diligently so as to avoid any potential risk/claims. • Working on value day trades and ensuring minimum fails that may occur due to SSI/economics mismatch. • Conducted Broker Relationship Meetings in DTC and Fed Market discussing how majority of trades can be affirmed and improve Straight through Processing(STP) rate, also maintaining good relationship with them.
Achievements
  • •Received many Wall of Fames for settling high value trades for blue print clients which were instructed close to market cut-off and made sure there were no claims to paid by the clients. • Migrated Processes from One location to another location and made sure entire team understood the end to end process. • Been part of Operations-technology team where the firm introduced a technology and smoothly implemented that technology in operations team without impacting the client.
