Responsibilities
  • Indian Railways is a Government of India (GOI) owned enterprise, operated through the Ministry of Railways. It is one of the world's largest railway networks which also manufactures and maintains much of its rolling stock and heavy engineering components. Railways has not only achieved self-sufficiency in production of rolling stock in the country but also supplies rolling stock to other countries.

    During training:
    my main objective was to learn and observe how assigned tasks are being executed.

  • Training at Indian Railway Locomotive Workshop at Lucknow
    Project--- CARRIAGE MAINTENANCE
    The training term deals with overhauling of various components involved in carriage of a bogie and highlight its importance in efficient functioning of various parts involved with the system
    It include:
    POH--permanent overhauling
    IOH---internal overhauling
    Of carriages and wagon pertaining to locomotives and coaches for their smooth functioning.
