Generated 3D models of several composite satellite products such as Prime Focal EV top mounted parabolic reflectors, offset EV top mounted parabolic reflectors, deployable single shell reflectors, dual gridded Reflectors, Camera structures, metallic end fittings
FE models have been generated for several satellite reflectors. Frequency analysis, Linear static analysis and Dynamic analysis are carried out for satellite composite structural components, results of which are used to configure design and optimize the products- 3D MODELING & SURFACE MODELING
• Expert in Part and Assembly modeling using CATIA.
• Proficient in surface modeling using CATIA
FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS (FEA)
Gained expertise in Linear FE analysis using HYPERWORKS/PATRAN/NASTRAN/ABAQUS.
Proficient in Composite structural modeling in FEA.
Pre-Processing
• Mesh generation of complex models is done using HYPERWORKS (HYPER MESH)
• Proficient in creating, editing and checking finite elements in PATRAN
• Material and property definition and load case creation is carried out in PATRAN/ABAQUS
Analysis
• Solution is carried out in NASTRAN/ ABAQUS
