The term E-Learning 2.0 is a neologism for Computer Supported Collaborative Learning CSCL systems that came about during the emergence of Web 2.0. Schools and Colleges are now following eLearning methodologies to teach their students online. All they provide is an electronic media such as a computer or a mobile phone, through which course contents are delivered and consumed. With its gaining importance, even private tutoring institutes use eLearning to teach their students. Earlier Flash was widely used as an elearning tool by institutions, but its importance vanished little by little when iPads and Tablets came into existence. A virtual education course refers to any instructional course in which all, or at least a significant portion, is delivered by the Internet. Virtual is used in that broader way to describe a course that not taught in a classroom face-to-face but through a substitute mode that can conceptually be associated virtually with classroom teaching, which means that people do not have to go to the physical classroom to learn. Accordingly, virtual education refers to a form of distance learning in which course content is delivered by various methods such as course management applications, multimedia resources, and videoconferencing. Students and instructors communicate via these technologies. So, how do universities and institutions feed contents into an eLearning medium How effective is elearning Is there a set protocol on how to use eLearning These are some of the questions that I sure hope to explore in this series. As foreword to answering all these questions, eLearning is effective only after the course creation. Yes, there are some tried and tested methods to create elearning content in a very effective way.
