Off-road vehicles are the vehicles that are used in dusty and swampy areas. The dust and fluids present in the region are highly prone to enter into the gear reduction starter motor which is used for starting the engine in the vehicle. The entry of these unwanted particles and fluids occur due to the pressure differences between the atmosphere and the area inside the gear reduction starter motor. These entries to the starter motor will reduce the efficiency and also the service life of the product. There are three sections or parts in a gear reduction starter motor which are developed separately and they are joined to make one product. The entry of these particles and fluid happen in the joining section of the different parts in the gear reduction starter motor. To reduce these entries, a process called sealing could be done which totally encloses the motor and does not allow ventilation. Numerical Analysis and Simulation of Nylon Composite Propeller for Aircraft

The propellers used in most of the modern day aircraft are made up of high grade aluminium alloy and advanced aircraft use composite materials but they are high in cost and they undergo oxidation and to overcome this difficulty they could be replaced with the nylon 6-clay hybrids. The nylon also has excellent inertia and they inherent chemical resistance. They reduce the weight and the cost of the propellers and they can be installed easily in the aircrafts. There are several nylon 6-clay hybrids which are molecular composites of nylon 6 and also silicate layers of saponite and montmorillonite, Nylon clay hybrids and NCHP's. The mechanical strength of the molecular composite is increased with increase in the clay minerals. The propellers are designed on the analysis made on the momentum theory from the thrust equation and the Bernoulli's equation for upstream and downstream of the propellers.
