  • Achievements:-Citation: Worked on LEAN project which helped in reducing approx 11846 events in Q3-Q4'12. This helped in savings of 197 man hours.

  • Roles and responsibilities. ? Playing the role of Duty Control Manager which consists of managing workload, prioritize the work throughout team, performing tasks to reduce the unwanted events from monitoring tool. ? Trouble shooting of various faults like Device not responding to Poller, Site down issues. ? Trouble shooting over ATM, Serial, Routing and Switching issues, LAN issues, CPU utilization. ? Performing Loopback Testing of the newly added devices in the network. ? Event monitoring. ? Performing initial diagnostic such as ping, telnet and SNMP poll. ? Raising tickets for incidence such as Device not responding to poller, Slow response, Intermittent connectivity, BGP backward transition, Link down on interfaces such as ATM, Serial, Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet and environmental disorder(fan not working properly, CPU highly utilized)etc. ? Raising a major network incident with the concerned team in case of such major network failure. ? Co-operate with other teams ? Ensure faults are navigated through the correct queues. ? Other activities : ? Mentor of new joiners. ? Maintaining database of device details in Excel
