Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with various suppliers, transport forwarders, warehouse operators/brokers.
    Ensure safety, on time and cost effective delivery of goods, which will in turn meet the demand of the plant
    Coordinate customs clearance staff and other necessary document processing to ensure credibility and commercial values of commodities against shipment
    Track the shipment via mails, conversations and shipping alerts and document in tracking report in SAP system.
    Provide accurate ETA on inbound shipments to warehouse and other end users of the plant.
    Create monthly analysis reports on international inbound shipments. Report on the costs and revenue (drawback) associated.
    As Distribution Planner:
    Develop contingencies for planned and unplanned supply chain interruptions.
    Schedule and coordinate with Hauler for distribution of finished product in the most economically advantageous manner.
Achievements
  • 1. Got appreciation for effective implementation of 5s in the Warehouse.
    2. Reduced the prolonged lead time to shorter lead time by effective planning and expediting.
