The aim of this project was to develop a Public Addressing system University campus including. This project will be helpful in our university to alert staff and students in case of any emergency and disaster like fire, earthquake etc. So that in case of any emergency anyone, even a guard can make announcement and reduce the chance of casualties. This PA system consists of microphone, amplifier, and loudspeakers can be used for alerting the people and assigning them task or a safe place to go for their safety of in case of any emergency. The caution sound can be heard all around in the building. This project is build in two parts wired and wireless which will be connected afterwards.
In our wired system the work is done in a group consisting 7 students. In this PA system the message spoken will be transferred to every floor of the building using speakers. The message reception will be synchronized so that message will be audible at the same time on each floor. Amplifiers and other components has been used for operating\driving the speakers. The CCTV management room/server room of the building will be used as base station for this PA system and the main component will be installed in the sever room because of easy availability of power supply and lesser wire in terms of distance will be used from server room as compared to other places in building for spreading the message. This Public Addressing system is easily operable, robust, cheap and a perfect system for making announcement in case of any emergency.
