Dyslipidemia has been documented to attenuate PI3K/AKT Pathway and reduces preconditioning potential in ischemic reperfused injured rat heart. It is documented that PTP1B causes dephosphorylation of cytoprotective cell survival PI3K/AKT Pathway. Therefore the present study has been designed to investigate the pharmacological preconditioning potential of SOV (PTP1B inhibitor) against I/R injury in dyslipidemic rat heart.(The pharmacological preconditioning potential of PTP-1B inhibition shall be investigated in dyslipidemic rat heart. )
