I am software tester by profession with 6.5 years of experience.I am a flexible kind of person and can easily fit in to the team for contribution towards reaching the goal as a team.Have played both team member and team leader roles.

Responsibilities
  • I have opportunity of working in Agile methodology
    Analyzing the requirements and preparing Test Plan as per the requirements in Design phase
    Writing the test cases as per the final approved Test plan during the Construction phase
    Executing the written test cases during the Execution phase
    As a tester, involved in various type of testing such as Sanity testing once the installation is done,
    Involved in regression testing of the web application
    Involved in executing the automated test cases for some functionalities in the project. Got an opportunity of playing lead role in such activity. The activity involves execution of automation scripts in QC which is integrated with QTP, storing the test results and analyzing the test results
    Raising defects in QC Retesting , reopening and Closing defects in QC based on the analysis of the test results
    Involved in Browser compatibility testing done in various platforms and browser combinations using Selenium
Achievements
  • ISTQB Certified Software Quality Engineer.
    Knowledge of Test management tools like Rational test manager, Quality Center and defect
    tracking tools like Clear Quest and exposure to automated test tools – QTP10.0, Selenium.
    Ability to learn new software quickly.
    Worked in both waterfall model and agile methodology
    Familiar with Test Strategy, Test Plan and Traceability Matrices Documents.
    Good expertise on Banking & Financial Domains
