Why ants travels line by line, explain the reason behind this?

• Ants are capable of finding the path from nest to the source of food without using visual cues. They generate the staright path by using strongPheromone/strong. Pheromone is a chemical that secreted by exocrine gland. Ant travels the pheromone chemical that cause they travel line by line if they move to new path then they modify the pheromone trail. Pheromone serve as means of communication among the member of same species.
