  • Interleukin 2, growth hormone, tissue plasminogen activator, alpha1 antitrypsin etc, that encoding valuable proteins and separately transferred into rabbits. Rabbits are used for gene farming or molecular farming that aims of production of recoverable quantities of pharmaceutically or biologically important proteins that encoded by transgenes. Generally transgene are designed to be expressed in mammary tissue so that their protein products are secreted in milk.
